My thermostat screen is blank. What should I check?
Try new batteries if it uses them, and check that the breaker for the furnace or air handler isn't tripped. A tripped float switch from a clogged drain can also cut power. If that doesn't fix it, call us.
Where should a thermostat be placed?
On an inside wall, away from sunlight, drafts, kitchens and supply vents, so it reads the real temperature of the house.
